About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute and coordinate FIX connectivity onboarding and certification efforts for electronic trading systems
- Manage certification troubleshooting and track status for tier 1 banking clients
- Navigate log files and perform troubleshooting within UNIX environments
- Interface with development, testing, deployment, and release processes to ensure high-quality solutions
- Communicate technical issues and project status effectively to management and stakeholders
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of experience in FIX connectivity onboarding and certification
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets, electronic trading flows, and FIX messaging implementations
- Proficiency in UNIX troubleshooting and navigating log files
- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Perl)
- Experience with equities and futures/options certifications, including algos
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Information Systems, or a related field
