About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the key interface between technology program leads and business planning/marketing groups to establish economic bases and valuations for major programs.
- Link Corporate Outlook and market insights to economic models to support technology development projects.
- Advise and guide on program funding and investment decisions through techno-economic assessments (TEA).
- Build models connecting technical variables, such as process or product performance, to economic performance.
- Provide early-stage economic guidance for new technology development opportunities, including white papers and technology scouting.
- Support management through special projects such as strategy updates, capability studies, and new product market assessments.
- Communicate and document results of technical and economic analyses for management reviews and portfolio updates.
Requirements
- Masters or Bachelor of Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 6.5 CGPA.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of process development and techno-economic evaluation.
- Proven ability to advocate for a business position.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of process simulation software, including Aspen Plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours and willingness to travel up to 20%.
