Technology Expert (Security)

Responsibilities

• Define security strategies and integrate Fortinet solutions into complex customer architectures
• Act as a bid architect by taking technical ownership of security proposals during pre-sales
• Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs), security assessments, and technical discoveries
• Design robust security architectures and ensure best practices in segmentation, SD-WAN, and ZTNA
• Serve as a senior technical mentor and go-to expert for other consultants
• Advise clients on security policies and frameworks such as NIST and ISO27001
• Present complex technical concepts to C-level executives, translating them into business value

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Consultant specializing in Security
• Expert-level Fortinet certifications (NSE4–NSE7)
• Deep proficiency in Fortinet solutions including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAuthenticator, FortiSwitch, and FortiAP
• Strong technical knowledge of SD-WAN, IPS/IDS, VPN, and ZTNA
• Fluency in Dutch is required; proficiency in English or French is a plus
• Proven ability to present and influence at the executive level
