Technology Engineer - Network Security

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end service decommissioning initiatives, including the removal of IP addresses, DNS entries, and SSL certificates.
• Lead and execute software upgrade programs for multi-vendor network security environments.
• Implement planned Disaster Recovery (DR) activities to ensure business continuity and resiliency.
• Provide Tier-3 support for priority (P1/P2) infrastructure incidents and mentor L2 operational teams.
• Manage change management workflows, including the creation of Runbooks and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Act as a validation user for new automation tools, performing regression testing and providing production-grade feedback.
• Drive infrastructure automation using Ansible, Python, or Chef to reduce manual workflows and TCO.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a strictly equivalent technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security engineering within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Deep technical expertise with Palo Alto (Panorama), Checkpoint (SmartConsole), and Fortinet Fortigate.
• Hands-on administration of F5 products (LTM, GTM, and ASM).
• Engineering experience with web proxies such as Zscaler and Forcepoint.
• Proficiency in automation tools including Ansible, Python, or Chef.
• Familiarity with containerization and virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, or OpenShift).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
• Relevant professional security certifications such as PCNSE, CCSA/CCSE, F5-CSE, or CCNP Security.
• Experience with Cisco FTD/FMC, Trend Micro micro-segmentation, and AWS Route53.
