Technology Business Systems Consultant

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex business problems and provide technical assistance to identify cost-effective automated systems and procedures
• Review and evaluate technical business problems that can be resolved through internet or intranet-based solutions
• Present recommendations for resolving business problems and exercise independent judgment regarding project budgets, plans, and schedules
• Facilitate communication between business and technology teams
• Work with business user groups to provide training, handle inquiries, observe user needs, and document results
• Contribute to developing, maintaining, and executing automation scripts using Selenium (Java) or Playwright (JavaScript)
• Participate in all Agile Scrum rituals, including Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Planning

Requirements

• 2+ years of Business Systems Data experience
• Proficiency in Agile Methodology and understanding of the SDLC (Waterfall and Agile)
• Hands-on experience with functional and automation testing
• Experience with Java, Selenium, or Playwright
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Core Java
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or SQL Developer
• Ability to work in a second shift (1:30 PM to 10:30 PM) and as needed on weekends or holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Acceptance Testing (Alpha and Beta testing)
• Experience with BrowserStack
• Knowledge of Project Management or Program Management domains
• Familiarity with Confluence
