Technologist

Responsibilities

• Execute media washing, sterilization, and upstream activities ensuring compliance with GMP guidelines
• Participate in deviation investigations and provide staff training on GMP, HSE, and SOP requirements
• Coordinate with MWS, upstream, and downstream units to support drug substance manufacturing
• Prepare media, inoculum, and perform analytical testing and area monitoring
• Document and review production activities, ensuring accurate SAP transactions and cGMP documentation
• Maintain data integrity in LIMS, Master, Change Request Forms, PCS, and EM systems
• Maintain production and office areas following 5S guidelines
• Support process improvement and prepare trending reports for SPC analysis

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years college diploma in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Life Science
• At least 1.5 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of purification processes for viral proteins and production equipment
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
• Strong background in chemistry, microbiology, biochemistry, and mathematics
• Proficient in computer applications and technical writing
• Ability to work night shifts (Tuesday-Saturday, Sunday-Thursday, or Friday-Tuesday)

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 years Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Life Science field
• 1 year of relevant experience
