Technologist - Post Trade Operations

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the technological vision for world-class operational platforms, improving trade processing, controls, and regulatory reporting.
• Act as the key point of contact from requirement inception through business acceptance, translating operational needs into technical deliverables.
• Oversee the architecture and design of business-developed technology, ensuring solutions are secure, reliable, and scalable.
• Manage the development roadmap and strategy, prioritizing business requirements and overseeing project delivery on time and within budget.
• Ensure all technology adheres to regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements, including SEC, FINRA, NFA, and CFTC standards.
• Create epics with clear acceptance criteria and report on the progress, effort, and cost of various technology initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Deep understanding of the post-trade lifecycle, including confirmation, settlement, clearing, collateral, and reconciliations.
• Proven experience with post-trade platforms and integrations (e.g., trade capture feeds, clearing brokers, and settlement systems).
• Working knowledge of regulatory and reporting obligations for Broker Dealer and Listed Derivatives activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and business analysis skills to bridge the gap between operations and technology.
• Experience delivering change in a regulated environment, including requirements definition, UAT, and production readiness.
