Technologist – Lab & Materials

Responsibilities

• Manage laboratory testing, including wash and performance testing on bulk production samples
• Validate test reports from suppliers and third-party laboratories to support product development
• Conduct fabric analysis and define new test requirements and quality benchmarks
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including datacolor machines and washing machines
• Perform supplier factory lab audits to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures
• Handle fabric and color quality claims through root-cause evaluation and testing
• Manage mini-bulk approvals via visual inspection and datacolor evaluation
• Coordinate with HQ and suppliers to finalize test matrices and shade management

Requirements

• Textile Technology background
• 5-7 years of experience in laboratory testing, fabric, and color management
• Strong knowledge of color science and fabric-color interaction
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects under pressure
