Technologist Engineer, ASIC Development Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end ownership of SoC verification flows, including planning, execution, and closure.
• Define verification strategies, create detailed test plans, and develop robust UVM/SystemVerilog-based test benches.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and test plan assessments.
• Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and firmware teams to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Develop and run C-based tests on SoCs, requiring strong processor and embedded software knowledge.
• Automate regression setup and result analysis using Python, Perl, or TCL.
• Debug complex issues across digital logic, firmware, timing, and DFT domains.
• Support low-power verification using UPF and perform gate-level simulations with SDF annotation.

Requirements

• BE or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 13+ years of professional experience in ASIC/SoC development.
• Deep understanding of C, SystemVerilog, and UVM methodologies.
• Proven expertise in coverage-driven verification.
• Strong knowledge of bus protocols such as AXI, AHB, and APB.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Perl, or TCL.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces like PCIe, LPDDR, or SPI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with power-aware (UPF/CPF) verification.
• Familiarity with performance verification and corner-case stress testing.
• Experience in scaling regression infrastructures in farm environments.
