Technologist

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and correct operational problems related to manufacturing equipment and plant building areas.
• Develop modifications for manufacturing machine components and review mechanical and electrical blueprints.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems on new automated machinery.
• Install new machines and ensure proper operation in compliance with quality and manufacturing procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs using sophisticated testing equipment and specialized manuals.
• Complete validation execution on new or existing machines and document all changes performed.
• Provide technical training to machine operators and technicians.
• Conduct EHS inspections to identify and correct safety hazards and environmental aspects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology.
• 0-1 years of related experience (includes in-house, co-op, or external experience).
• Knowledge of programmable controller software and logical sequences.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work irregular hours and a shift schedule (Thu-Sat, 12-hour shifts).
• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
