About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure the compliance of finished products and components with established quality standards.
- Verify the global capacity of production and control processes.
- Maintain product standards to meet customer expectations regarding aesthetics, ergonomics, and integrity.
- Update quality standards, including control ranges and defect catalogs, based on validated improvements.
- Provide daily technical support to production teams regarding operational quality.
- Train production staff on quality methods such as self-control and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Compile and analyze non-quality data (scraps, exchanges, customer complaints) and manage reporting.
- Lead problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives for products and processes.
- Coordinate quality assurance procedures, including sampling rules and collection frequencies.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to eliminate waste within the production unit.
Requirements
- Engineering degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality role within an industrial environment.
- Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working effectively in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of ELLISTAT is considered an asset.
