DEP, DEC or relevant experience, 2-3 years experience in heavy machinery or industrial environment, Organizational skills, Basic mechanical skills, Valid driver's license, French fluency
About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in soil treatment activities including soil reception, piling, mixing, and environmental monitoring
- Optimize equipment such as machinery, scales, vehicles, and treatment units
- Manage inventories for laboratory equipment, health and safety supplies, amendments, and fertilizers
- Plan daily operations based on mandates provided by the operations manager
- Apply health and safety regulations and collaborate with the HSE controller
- Operate heavy machinery including wheel loaders, forklifts, and excavators for soil management
- Maintain equipment through regular inspections and follow-up on maintenance needs
- Draft daily reports and participate in daily operational meetings
- Coordinate with subcontractors and maintain links with laboratories and external consultants
Requirements
- DEP, DEC, or relevant experience in environment, mechanics, or operations
- 2 to 3 years of experience in heavy machinery or an industrial environment
- Strong organizational skills and strict adherence to health and safety procedures
- Basic mechanical skills and an interest in equipment maintenance
- Valid driver's license with mobility to work at the Saint-Rosaire site and other locations on the South Shore and North Shore of Quebec
- Fluency in French (spoken and written); English is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an outdoor operational environment
