Technicien en Santé et Sécurité au Travail

Responsibilities

• Manage operational fire risk, including updating attack plans, planning fire drills, and organizing regulatory evacuation exercises.
• Draft fire safety dossiers for new installations and support inspections and safety commissions.
• Maintain technical data regarding installation heat loads and manage hot work permits (permis de feu).
• Coordinate external contractor interventions by preparing and enforcing prevention plans (plans de prévention).
• Manage intervention requests and authorizations, including access permits and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Conduct field safety audits to ensure compliance with regulations, PPE usage, and zone marking.
• Manage coactivity risks and implement appropriate prevention measures in complex multi-actor environments.

Requirements

• Bac +2/3 degree in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) or an equivalent professional experience in industrial risk prevention.
• Strong knowledge of SST regulations and coactivity management (prevention plans, hot work permits, etc.).
• Proven ability to perform field safety audits and technical controls.
• Proficiency in both French and English.
• Ability to obtain or hold necessary security clearances.
• Strong communication, pedagogical, and mediation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical certification (NF C18-510).
• First Aid certification (Sauveteur Secouriste du Travail - SST).
• Specialized training in ATEX, fire safety, or working at heights.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 standards.
