Technicien APRS

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and component-level diagnostics to identify faults in aerospace components.
• Execute repairs, including the replacement of electronic boards and sub-assemblies, and perform simple wiring tasks.
• Manage the BGA (Ball Grid Array) activity, including designing and following repair processes according to IPC-7095 standards.
• Conduct technical inspections (pre-can) and generate release documentation in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain test benches and BGA machinery, ensuring preventive maintenance is performed.
• Ensure all work complies with quality procedures, 5S standards, and EASA/FAA regulations.
• Document all repair activities in SAP and maintain accurate repair files.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events and problem-solving processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of a BAC+2 degree (or equivalent technical qualification).
• At least 5 years of professional experience in electronics repair or a similar technical field.
• Mastery of advanced troubleshooting techniques at the component level using specific diagnostic tools.
• Strong knowledge of IPC-7095 standards for BGA assembly and repair.
• Thorough understanding of aerospace regulatory standards, including EASA and FAA.
• Ability to act as a technical expert and mentor for other technicians.
