Technicien à la pyroanalyse

Responsibilities

• Perform sample fusion, cupellation, and pyroanalysis production activities
• Coordinate production activities to ensure quality, production targets, and health and safety standards are met
• Manage difficult sample mixtures, such as carbonates and concentrates
• Execute cupellation and handle assaying processes
• Exercise judgment regarding the quality of functions and select samples for re-analysis
• Apply products and methods correctly in accordance with established protocols
• Maintain strict adherence to all safety rules and regulations

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant experience or a diploma in chemistry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (assistance or lifting equipment required for loads exceeding 50 lbs)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to control chemical reactions during pyrognostic testing
• Highly motivated, autonomous, and capable of working effectively within a team
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to act with tact and diplomacy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in preparing samples for pyrognostic testing
• Knowledge of geology
