Technician Workshop

Responsibilities

• Assemble single-stage turbo and multi-stage screw compressor major units according to technical drawings and processes
• Prepare components for completeness and quality, ensuring assembly locations are aligned and clean
• Perform test run preparations, including laser alignment between core units and drivers
• Install compressor packages on test beds and manage connections for water, lubrication oil, and electrical wiring
• Implement 5S management for tools, workbenches, and the general working area
• Identify and report quality deviations or non-conformities to engineering and production teams
• Handle parts and materials using cranes or forklifts, ensuring safe lifting and storage
• Comply with all company discipline and safety rules

Requirements

• High school graduate
• More than 3 years of experience in the assembly, testing, or commissioning of rotating equipment (e.g., compressors, diesel engines, pumps, or gearboxes)
• Ability to understand technical drawings, diagrams, and instructions written in English
• Fluency in the Korean language
• Familiarity with quality inspection tasks such as dimensional measurements, alignment, and run-out measurements
• Willingness to work occasional late shifts and travel domestically or abroad (less than 10% of the time) for training

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification for forklift and overhead crane operations
