About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding to refurbish aircraft engine components to meet strict quality standards
  • Support cell operations including benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing, and cold working processes
  • Potential to undergo training for operating new automation machines
  • Attend EH&S training programs and maintain personal responsibility for safety adherence
  • Support continuous improvement programs and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities

Requirements

  • GCE 'O' Level or NITEC in Precision, Aerospace, Mechanical, or relevant disciplines
  • 3 years of relevant experience in TIG welding
  • Ability to understand and follow technical drawings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a hands-on approach
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on an as-needed basis
  • Comfort with learning new welding methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with airworthiness and regulatory agency requirements
  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering
  • External training with formal welding certifications
