Technician V, Lab Management

Responsibilities

• Manage lab asset inventories using structured tracking systems to ensure accuracy and traceability
• Install, configure, and upgrade lab hardware and systems to meet operational and project needs
• Maintain lab equipment and environments to ensure reliable operation and cleanliness standards
• Coordinate lab-related facilities activities, including power, cooling, and space utilization
• Deploy and manage software on lab systems, ensuring correct configuration and integration
• Automate routine lab tasks through scripting to improve efficiency and repeatability
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network infrastructure issues within the lab environment

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in asset tracking and inventory management within a technical lab environment
• Experience with hardware installation, configuration, and lab equipment maintenance
• Background in maintaining and working with network infrastructures in a lab setting
• Proficiency in using scripting software to automate operational or maintenance tasks
• Experience executing software deployments and configuration activities on lab systems
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Experience producing technical documentation, procedures, and user guides
• Strong customer-focused interaction skills for managing internal stakeholder requests
