Technician, Tooling. WEDM

Responsibilities

• Operate WEDM machines, including preparing and loading raw materials and parts
• Set up programs for WEDM machines and make necessary adjustments during execution
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings to understand task specifications
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality requirements
• Troubleshoot and solve technical, quality, and process issues during shifts
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and tooling to ensure equipment reliability
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs
• Maintain compliance with 6S, KAIZEN, and Environmental Health Safety standards

Requirements

• College or Vocational education
• At least 2 years of experience operating WEDM machines
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a tooling fabrication company
• Experience manufacturing injection molds or stamping dies for electronic components
