Technician, Structures

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft structures
• Fabricate or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts
• Perform minor structural repairs on composite components
• Remove and install aircraft components, including mechanical and electrical parts
• Assist in conducting hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures
• Document all work performed in accordance with appropriate manuals and regulations
• Comply with environmental health and safety policies and participate in 5-S activities
• Operate ground support equipment as required

Requirements

• 0-2 years of structural sheet metal repair or modification experience
• Completion of Sheet Metal A/C Tech school or equivalent schooling
• Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
• Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with ability to demonstrate inventory control
• Basic PC skills
• Ability to work unscheduled overtime, including non-scheduled work days and holidays
• Ability to work in seasonal or inclement weather conditions outdoors
