Technician, SMT Set Up

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for SMT production operations, including equipment troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
• Minimize downtime through rapid response to equipment failures and efficient debugging
• Verify programs during trial and mass production runs to ensure zero-error execution
• Perform comprehensive equipment maintenance according to established schedules
• Monitor production quality and material consumption to drive continuous improvement
• Support model changeovers and perform necessary program adjustments on related equipment
• Manage equipment spare parts and maintain offline tools such as pick-and-place heads and feeders
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports to ensure consistency in audit parameters

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as an SMT Technician
• Hands-on experience with DEK, MPM, FUJI NXT, ERSA, Kohyoung, and Parmi AOI equipment
• Proficiency in Fujiflexa, Fujitrax, and Fuji accessory software
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 electronic assembly acceptance standards
• Basic English reading and writing skills for interpreting manuals and circuit diagrams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer hardware functions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with industrial automation equipment design, assembly, or PLC programming
• Experience debugging Viscom7056RS
• Familiarity with IATF16949, ISO14001, and ISO45001 management systems
