Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks across hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner
• Carry out preventive maintenance as per schedule
• Ensure all equipment and systems are operating safely and efficiently
• Assist in installation of new equipment when required
• Maintain maintenance records and report completed work
• Follow hotel safety standards and procedures at all times
• Coordinate with other engineering team members and departments
• Support emergency repairs when needed

Requirements

• Technical Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, or a related field
• Previous experience in general maintenance or hotel engineering preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Understanding of preventive maintenance procedures
• Ability to read and understand basic technical manuals and drawings
• Basic English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physically fit for hands-on maintenance tasks
