About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of incoming, in-process, and outgoing aircraft component parts.
- Ensure all parts are repaired according to prescribed standards, technical data, and regulatory requirements.
- Understand and apply manufacturer specifications regarding inspection tolerances and limitations.
- Execute SAP transactions and manage necessary changes to work orders within the SAP system.
- Support continuous improvement programs and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities.
- Adhere to all EH&S training programs and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- 2 years of relevant inspection experience or a strong interest in pursuing a career in the aerospace industry.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a hands-on approach to tasks.
- Ability to commit to night shifts and overtime on an as-needed basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering.
- Familiarity with airworthiness and regulatory agency requirements.
