About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct tests, inspections, audits, and validations to ensure process compliance with contracts and client specifications.
  • Validate that certification and calibration for operators and special processes are current.
  • Perform inspections, evaluations, and surveillance of vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Use and maintain inspection tools, measuring devices, and test equipment.
  • Conduct sampling inspections in accordance with approved plans and procedures.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis and follow-up audits to review corrective actions.
  • Collect and use statistical data to monitor and evaluate quality trends.
  • Provide training and tutoring to other inspection personnel.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure the inclusion of quality requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 3 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to client requirements.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical drawings, prints, and documents.
  • Proficiency in using various inspection tools and measuring/test equipment.
  • Must pass a Geometric Dimension & Tolerance (GD&T) test within the first week of employment.
  • Full understanding of quality systems and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • IPC-600, IPC-610, and/or IPC-620 Certifications.
  • Willingness to travel regionally, nationally, or to Canada.
