About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform batch tracking verification for previous day production
- Conduct product testing for microbiological, chemical, and sensory characteristics
- Assist with audit preparations and on-floor quality programs, including environmental monitoring
- Manage data entry, paperwork, and new product testing/shelf-life studies
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work a Sunday to Wednesday schedule (7:00pm - 5:00am) with flexibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Work-related experience in a Quality Control or Food Processing environment
- Experience with Maestro/AS400 systems
- Knowledge of Canadian dairy industry regulations
