Technician - Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Perform general, predictive, and preventive maintenance on injection and blow moulding machines, thermoforming machines, and related accessories.
• Attend to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Monitor and maintain utility equipment, including air compressors, AC units, and chillers.
• Manage and maintain accurate records, including job cards and repair documentation, to ensure full traceability.
• Propose workable suggestions for process, machinery, and efficiency improvements to superiors.
• Adhere strictly to all safety, quality, food safety, and environmental regulations (QHSE) and ISO standards.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in all work areas.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical preferred).
• 3 to 5 years of machine maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally in the plastics or packaging industry.
• Proven ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits as well as mechanical drawings.
• Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to optimize spare parts usage and manage maintenance resources effectively.
