About the role

Responsibilities

  • Complete maintenance and calibration activities according to schedule and ensure equipment repairs are carried out in a timely manner.
  • Respond to equipment failures quickly, aiming to arrive at the fault site within 15 minutes.
  • Perform all maintenance and calibration tasks in strict accordance with equipment tool records and GDP requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal departments (production, quality, engineering) and external suppliers to meet business needs.
  • Operate asset management systems to introduce new tools, release work orders, and close completed orders.
  • Manage the procurement of indirect materials and spare parts, including payment processes and third-party performance management.
  • Ensure all documentation, including red tags and external calibration checklists, is completed accurately and complies with GDP.
  • Adhere to all WHS (Work Health and Safety) protocols, reporting incidents and participating in safety investigations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and complete at least one independent improvement project annually.

Requirements

  • Junior college degree or above in Automation, Electrical, Electronics, Tool Making, Mechanical/Fitting, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of maintenance experience within a lean manufacturing operations environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
