Technician Lead-Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical and technical expertise for assigned areas by approving preventive maintenance and supporting equipment repairs.
• Lead and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance (PM) programs to ensure safety and maximize equipment uptime.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and provide guidance to Level II and Level III technicians.
• Plan and coordinate daily work with production and planners, ensuring all required materials, tools, and equipment are prepared.
• Identify spare parts needs using OEM drawings, SAP, and catalogs, and recommend equipment or process improvements.
• Fabricate and repair machine components in the maintenance/machine shop.
• Use controllers and HMI to diagnose issues and manage lubricants, coolants, and greases.
• Enforce safety, quality, and housekeeping standards including 5S, TS 16949, and ISO 14000.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree.
• 6-8 years of progressive experience in maintenance.
• Proven experience in leading and directing other product technicians.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
