About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify, quantify, and facilitate the repair of fugitive emissions using optical gas imaging (OGI) technology.
  • Perform regulatory inspections on a wide range of surface equipment, including rotating equipment, engines, pumps, piping, valves, and tanks.
  • Locate and determine the severity of hydrocarbon gas leaks to improve facility safety and equipment reliability.
  • Conduct thermography inspections and provide maintenance recommendations based on findings.
  • Ensure all operations adhere to state and federal environmental regulations and safety standards.
  • Support facility start-up and post-maintenance activities through OGI inspections to ensure safe and clean operations.

Requirements

  • Ability to work a 14/14 rotational schedule, including potential weekend or holiday work.
  • Strong background and experience in Oil & Gas Operations or Maintenance.
  • Proficiency in PC applications including SAP4HANA, PowerBi, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to work independently in remote, isolated locations.
  • Ability to travel to various field locations, including overnight stays.
  • Ability to work in extreme heat and challenging weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) and Optical Gas Imaging.
  • Extensive knowledge of State and Federal regulations, including OOOOa, OOOOb, NRSP, and CAFO.PBR.
  • Ability to manage complex task schedules and prioritize responsibilities to maintain regulatory compliance.
