About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage technical tasks in planning, designing, and implementing maintenance programs for facilities and equipment.
- Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, including clamp systems, injection units, and hydraulic/electric components.
- Maintain and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment such as dryers, thermolators, hot runner controllers, robots, and material handling systems.
- Read and effectively use schematics, manuals, technical drawings, and diagnostic tools.
- Document all work accurately within the Maximo CMMS system.
- Collaborate with operators, supervisors, and engineers to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Adhere to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining rigorous quality control.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Fluent English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
- Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX on a C-shift schedule (Friday–Sunday and every other Thursday, 4:45am–4:45pm).
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with injection molding machines.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, facilities, or utilities environments.
- Proficiency with CMMS software and basic computer skills.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment.
