Technician III, Repair & Maintenance Engineering

Responsibilities

• Manage technical tasks in planning, designing, and implementing maintenance programs for facilities and equipment.
• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, including clamp systems, injection units, and hydraulic/electric components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment such as dryers, thermolators, hot runner controllers, robots, and material handling systems.
• Read and effectively use schematics, manuals, technical drawings, and diagnostic tools.
• Document all work accurately within the Maximo CMMS system.
• Collaborate with operators, supervisors, and engineers to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Adhere to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining rigorous quality control.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
• Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX on a C-shift schedule (Friday–Sunday and every other Thursday, 4:45am–4:45pm).

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with injection molding machines.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, facilities, or utilities environments.
• Proficiency with CMMS software and basic computer skills.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment.
