Technician III, Process Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on process equipment and systems, including simple calibrations
• Serve as the primary first responder for equipment-related issues and troubleshoot complex malfunctions
• Lead the development of remediation strategies for emergency work and oversee repairs
• Manage contract service providers, including scheduling, SOP training, and ensuring cGMP compliance
• Document all maintenance activities in paper-based and electronic cGMP-compliant records
• Support facility operations with rotating on-call responsibilities across a 24/7 schedule
• Perform equipment changeovers and setup for filling equipment, autoclaves, washers, and filter integrity testers
• Maintain spare parts, tools, and equipment inventories to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Administer hazardous energy control and confined space entry procedures in compliance with safety protocols

Requirements

• AS degree or technical certificate in a science/technical field or from a technical trade school
• 5-7 years of experience in a technical maintenance or similar role
• Experience with cGMP documentation and maintaining compliant records
• Strong expertise in equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Norwood, MA
• Must hold current US work authorization without the need for future sponsorship
