Technician II (PM)

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical setup, calibration, and adjustment of automated filling systems during product changeovers
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues in packaging and filling equipment
• Maintain and replace mechanical components including O-rings, valves, pumps, and nozzle assemblies
• Configure and adjust process parameters through HMI interfaces for automated systems
• Supply filling lines with components and bulk product to ensure continuous operation
• Perform line clearance, sanitization, and housekeeping tasks in compliance with SOPs
• Complete GMP documentation including cleaning records and packaging batch records accurately
• Assist with the training of new hires and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment
• Proven experience with packaging changeover and equipment set-up
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use various hand and diagnostic tools
• Knowledge of and compliance with cGMP requirements
• Mathematical proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages, and percentages)
• Strong English communication skills (written and oral)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience with filling, cartoning, pumps, and motorized material handling equipment
• Proficiency using computers, including Microsoft Office, SAP, and Manufacturing Execution Software (MES)
• Forklift certification
• WHMIS training
