About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on wet etch equipment systems and subsystems
- Monitor chemical concentrations, temperatures, and etching parameters to ensure optimal performance
- Identify equipment malfunctions and perform troubleshooting under supervision
- Rebuild sub-assemblies and maintain vacuum and fluid delivery systems
- Handle hazardous chemicals safely following all EHS requirements and PPE protocols
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Assist senior technicians with verification testing of equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of work-related experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance or chemical processing
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work shift work, including nights and weekends (Front Night shift schedule)
- Willingness to obtain hazardous materials handling certifications and follow strict safety protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronics or Engineering Technology
- Prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing or wet chemical etching processes
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and pneumatic diagrams
- Practical knowledge of vacuum theory, cleanroom protocols, and IC fabrication
- Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital volt-ohm meters
