Technician II Equipment Line

Responsibilities

• Respond to assembly line equipment repair calls by diagnosing problems and performing necessary repairs
• Document equipment qualifications, upgrades, and preventative maintenance in the MP2 maintenance database
• Maintain back-up equipment and ensure spare parts are stocked at required levels
• Assist industrial, manufacturing, and quality engineers with equipment operation
• Provide feedback to development engineers to help improve equipment uptime
• Assist in the construction of worktables and the setup of equipment on manufacturing assembly lines
• Modify existing assembly lines or workstations to accommodate manufacturing demands
• Plan, organize, and prioritize daily work routines to meet established schedules

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (or an equivalent combination of education and work experience)
• 2-5 years of related technical work experience
• Proficiency in using technical manuals and interpreting schematic drawings
• Experience using precision tools and test equipment
• Ability to perform non-routine to moderately complex technical assignments in a quality system environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or some college credits
