About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance work on equipment
- Rebuild sub-assemblies and mainframe vacuum systems using appropriate mechanical techniques and cleaning procedures
- Work both independently and within a team to complete physically demanding technical tasks
- Assist senior technicians with verification testing of equipment following preventive maintenance
- Utilize process measurement data to ensure the quality of completed tasks
- Provide input to assist in the development and optimization of equipment maintenance schedules
- Maintain and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of work-related experience or training
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and flow charts
- Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic methods
- Ability to operate and interpret test equipment, including oscilloscopes and digital volt-ohm meters
Preferred Qualifications
- AS technical degree in electronics or a Military electronics certificate
- Practical knowledge of vacuum theory, IC Fabrication, and clean room protocols
- Experience with current and voltage sources and chart recorders
