Technician II- Equipment (EPI)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance work on equipment
• Rebuild sub-assemblies and mainframe vacuum systems using appropriate mechanical techniques and cleaning procedures
• Work both independently and within a team to complete physically demanding technical tasks
• Assist senior technicians with verification testing of equipment following preventive maintenance
• Utilize process measurement data to ensure the quality of completed tasks
• Provide input to assist in the development and optimization of equipment maintenance schedules
• Maintain and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of work-related experience or training
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and flow charts
• Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic methods
• Ability to operate and interpret test equipment, including oscilloscopes and digital volt-ohm meters

Preferred Qualifications

• AS technical degree in electronics or a Military electronics certificate
• Practical knowledge of vacuum theory, IC Fabrication, and clean room protocols
• Experience with current and voltage sources and chart recorders
