Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on returned kiosk parts, PCs, and components
• Run failure analysis on incoming electrical and mechanical parts
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting of programming, power sources, and electrical systems
• Repair, test, configure, and pack kiosks and parts for field use
• Use Salesforce to receive part orders and update equipment data
• Perform quality and final inspections of repaired units
• Maintain an organized work area and follow standard work instructions

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency with hand tools, multimeters, wrenches, and drills
• Basic knowledge of electronics principles and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and push 1000lb+ kiosks
• Ability to stand for large portions of the workday
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical/vocational school diploma
• A+ certification
• 2+ years of technical experience in computer operations or networking
• Experience with Microsoft Windows drivers and peripheral configuration
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems and firmware programming
• Familiarity with Oracle or Salesforce
