About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs on returned kiosk parts, PCs, and components
- Run failure analysis on incoming electrical and mechanical parts
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting of programming, power sources, and electrical systems
- Repair, test, configure, and pack kiosks and parts for field use
- Use Salesforce to receive part orders and update equipment data
- Perform quality and final inspections of repaired units
- Maintain an organized work area and follow standard work instructions
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency with hand tools, multimeters, wrenches, and drills
- Basic knowledge of electronics principles and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and push 1000lb+ kiosks
- Ability to stand for large portions of the workday
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical/vocational school diploma
- A+ certification
- 2+ years of technical experience in computer operations or networking
- Experience with Microsoft Windows drivers and peripheral configuration
- Experience with electro-mechanical systems and firmware programming
- Familiarity with Oracle or Salesforce
