Technician I, Sterile Production Operations

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile or clean conditions of rooms and equipment associated with aseptic filling
• Perform aseptic filling of ophthalmic products to meet quality and output requirements
• Prepare, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
• Execute routine cleaning, sanitization, and steam sterilization of production equipment and components
• Perform routine microbiological sampling for environmental and personnel monitoring in clean room environments
• Prepare, verify, and transfer materials and components used in aseptic filling
• Assist in investigations of process deviations and identify opportunities for productivity improvements

Requirements

• NITEC or Higher NITEC in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related pharmaceutical manufacturing discipline
• 1-3 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a pharmaceutical or cGMP environment
