About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment and perform daily routine checks and qualifications
- Troubleshoot out-of-control tool and product issues to resolve process problems
- Assist management in improving manufacturing process efficiency
- Perform machine calibrations and document new or edited recipes
- Collect, analyze, and summarize data to assist in process or equipment recommendations
- Work with engineers to generate Out of Control Action Plan (OCAP) documents
- Certify and assist in training production operators
- Generate detailed passdowns for oncoming shifts and engineers
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing practices and methods
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with spreadsheets
- Basic comprehension of SPC theory, practice, and implementation
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-paced production environment
- Ability to write clear documentation and technical specifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate of Science degree or greater
- Greater than 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing
- Knowledge and experience in Diffusion and/or Ion Implant
- Experience writing or conducting Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Experience programming and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment
