About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment and perform daily routine checks and qualifications
- Troubleshoot out-of-control tool and product issues and implement corrective actions
- Perform designated machine calibrations and create/edit recipes
- Assist management with improving manufacturing process efficiency
- Collect, analyze, and summarize data to assist in process or equipment recommendations
- Document experiment results and work with engineers to generate OCAP documents
- Certify and assist in training production operators
- Generate detailed passdowns for oncoming shifts and engineers
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing practices and methods
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with spreadsheets
- Basic comprehension of SPC theory, practice, and implementation
- Ability to perform machine calibrations and first-line troubleshooting on equipment failures
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-paced production environment
- Strong communication skills to interface with all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate of Science degree or greater
- 2+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing
- Knowledge and experience in Diffusion and/or Implant processes
- Experience writing or conducting Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Experience programming and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment
