Technician Field III

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair major electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, LP, steering, transmission, and engine systems
• Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics to troubleshoot complex systems on IC and electric trucks
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, tune-ups, and hydraulic cylinder tests independently
• Conduct failure analysis across all equipment systems and provide repair quotes
• Manage daily operations including tool/supply checks, parts ordering, and documentation
• Safely operate a service van to deliver expert service directly at customer sites
• Mentor apprentice mechanics through hands-on training and technical guidance
• Maintain a clean, compliant work area following all safety and contamination standards

Requirements

• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Ability to interpret complex technical schematics
• Proficiency in performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ability to operate a service van and travel to customer locations
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and customer service excellence
