About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine tests following established procedures
- Complete tasks within allocated time and plan work for operators
- Carry out required test work unsupervised
- Prepare accurate logsheets and perform quality checks on test work data
- Prepare presentations of test work data and project update reports
- Ensure housekeeping in the allocated work area
- Manage submission of samples for analysis
- Provide training and direction to operators regarding quality, methodology, and safety
- Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system
Requirements
- Tertiary education with a math and science background
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar field
- Ability to follow written instructions in fine detail
- Good communication skills
