Technician Electrical Instrument

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install, and maintain electrical equipment, gauges, instruments, and process control equipment
• Work from blueprints, electrical drawings, ladder diagrams, and wiring diagrams
• Determine optimal repair methods to minimize interruption of AC and DC equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on motors, generators, relays, circuit breakers, and transformers
• Dismantle and service faulty parts on hydraulic, magnetic, and pneumatic equipment
• Collaborate closely with the production and maintenance departments to support plant operations

Requirements

• 5 years of industrial electrical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven experience with power distribution, PLC, and digital drives
• Proficiency in AC/DC systems, including single phase and three phase systems (4160V, 480V, and 120V)
• Working knowledge of the National Electric Code
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs
• Ability to work at heights greater than five stories and in extreme temperatures
