Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of commercial buildings, industrial systems, and maintenance equipment.
• Perform maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices, including pumps and valves.
• Handle building repairs such as replacing ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and painting walls or floors.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe conditions or preventative maintenance needs.
• Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems, including fire alarms and fire pumps.
• Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests.
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company safety directives.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Technical training or vocational experience in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Basic computing skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to use technology such as smartphones, tablets, and building automation systems.
