Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen systems
• Identify and fix electrical, plumbing, and mechanical problems in guest rooms and public areas
• Handle emergency repairs such as water leaks and power outages
• Monitor building management systems including lighting, security, and fire protection
• Support room renovations and installations involving electrical, plumbing, or carpentry
• Document maintenance tasks and report major issues to management
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
• Perform general facility upkeep including painting and minor construction
• Implement energy-saving initiatives and monitor utility usage

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of coliving or hotel technician experience
• Technical skills in electrical works, plumbing, appliance repair, and furniture repair
• Hands-on repair and maintenance skills
• Driver's license
• Project management skills
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mandarin or Malay
