About the Company

We collaborate closely with developers and operators of oil and gas pipelines and electric transmission systems, supporting both extensive linear projects and site-specific developments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an entry-level field or rod person on a survey field crew
• Set up back-sight and foresight targets and total station instrument
• Set and mark stakes for construction
• Support field efforts with land surveying by applying math, science, and engineering principles
• Drive company vehicle to and from job sites and maintain vehicle organization
• Operate print machines and copiers to assemble project plans and documents

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Ability to hike through various terrains while carrying approximately 50 pounds of equipment
• Valid driver's license and acceptable DMV record
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willingness to travel up to 100%
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to apply math concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or college coursework in surveying, engineering, GIS, or mapping
• 0–2 years of experience in field surveys
• Experience with construction and mapping terminology
