Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of composite aircraft components to identify damage, wear, and required repairs
• Conduct repairs on composite structures and materials, including sanding, cutting, bonding, and curing
• Follow engineering blueprints, technical manuals, maintenance instructions, and standard operating procedures
• Operate and maintain specialized tools and machinery such as vacuum pumps, autoclaves, and curing ovens
• Document repair processes, materials used, and work completed in accordance with regulatory guidelines
• Ensure strict compliance with EHS and Quality systems

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related Aerospace courses)
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Proficiency in reading and working from technical manuals, drawings, and written instructions
• Computer literacy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with aerospace MRO specifically for composites
• Knowledge of SAP
