Technician - Cold Storage Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Check, monitor, and control all warehouse technology (cooling/CA storage)
• Adjust warehouse technology considering product safety and legal requirements
• Plan and control maintenance and monitor own storage facilities
• Further develop warehouse technology and methods
• Implement and monitor quality and hygiene standards
• Ensure the quality of chilled goods and technical equipment
• Responsibility for MCP treatment and monitoring of testing equipment
• Report investment needs for repairs and maintenance
• Maintain and service cooling technology, vehicle scales, heating, electricity, water, and lighting
• Monitor legal regulations (GGV, UVV, fire protection, emissions, etc.)
• Participate in HACCP and energy teams

Requirements

• Completed technical training (plant mechanic, mechatronics technician, or technician, ideally in refrigeration technology or similar)
• Technical understanding and high level of commitment
• Time flexibility and sense of responsibility
• Ideally very good product knowledge in the fruit sector
