Technician B - Hematology & Oncology

Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed, up-to-date, and accurate records of specimens and reagents
• Perform routine laboratory tasks including molecular biology and flow cytometry
• Work with laboratory animals to support research aims
• Assist laboratory members in the conduct of experiments as directed by the PI
• Perform analytical techniques such as PCR, western blot, and immunohistochemistry
• Conduct routine data processing and assist with data analysis
• Manage laboratory operations including ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
• Assist with the development of new assays, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or a related science
• Proficiency in sterile cell culture techniques
• Experience with molecular biology and flow cytometry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work with laboratory animals
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
