About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed, up-to-date, and accurate records of specimens and reagents
- Perform routine laboratory tasks including molecular biology and flow cytometry
- Work with laboratory animals to support research aims
- Assist laboratory members in the conduct of experiments as directed by the PI
- Perform analytical techniques such as PCR, western blot, and immunohistochemistry
- Conduct routine data processing and assist with data analysis
- Manage laboratory operations including ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
- Assist with the development of new assays, policies, and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or a related science
- Proficiency in sterile cell culture techniques
- Experience with molecular biology and flow cytometry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work with laboratory animals
