Technician B

Responsibilities

• Carry out requested sample processing and analytical assays
• Organize, process, and report results to the laboratory manager
• Maintain detailed sample inventories and track availability
• Collaborate with laboratory members to develop and optimize new lab assays
• Assist senior technicians with identifying and ordering supplies
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and manage supply inventories

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related science
• Knowledge of nucleic acid extraction
• Knowledge of sequencing library preparation

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a molecular biology laboratory
• Experience with extracellular vesicles or human biospecimen processing
• Experience with immunoaffinity-based purification
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent computer, verbal, and written communication skills
