About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform and analyze cell biology and molecular biology experiments
- Conduct cell culture of mammalian cell lines
- Prepare, perform, and analyze confocal microscopy experiments
- Execute basic biochemistry experiments including Western blots, immunoprecipitations, and cell fractionations
- Perform and analyze flow cytometry experiments and cell sorting
- Assist with general lab duties and other related responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or physics
- Or a completed animal husbandry program
- Or equivalent education, training, and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of related laboratory experience
- Knowledge of various related laboratory procedures and techniques
- Experience with light microscopy data acquisition and image analysis
- Experience with tissue culture
