About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform and analyze cell biology and molecular biology experiments
  • Conduct cell culture of mammalian cell lines
  • Prepare, perform, and analyze confocal microscopy experiments
  • Execute basic biochemistry experiments including Western blots, immunoprecipitations, and cell fractionations
  • Perform and analyze flow cytometry experiments and cell sorting
  • Assist with general lab duties and other related responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or physics
  • Or a completed animal husbandry program
  • Or equivalent education, training, and experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of related laboratory experience
  • Knowledge of various related laboratory procedures and techniques
  • Experience with light microscopy data acquisition and image analysis
  • Experience with tissue culture
